Mary Lou & Becca

TheBalm has a beautiful highlighter that glides on. Becca’s highlighter is a little more on the bronze side but magically melts into the skin. I actually mixed the two in these photos. With a little bronzer at the cheekbones, you’re good to go!

I definitely recommending using these highlighters in the summer to give that perfect dewy and glowing look! You don’t even need to contour- strobe all the way!

Comment with your opinions on these products, I’d love to check them out 🙂

70s Making its Revival

This photo was taken 90 weeks ago! I felt that it’s necessary to post this because we see the 1970s coming back (literally from 1970- 90 weeks ago- now!) I paired an off-the-shoulder black crop top with denim high waisted shorts (that were thrifted!) This knit throw was from Express (also thrifted.) Add a braided headband, some feathery necklace and you’re good to go!

Soooo excited to see what everyone is going to wear this summer and how they add their own twist to the revival of the 70s!
Yours truly,

Who would’ve thought a Berry crease would be so mesmerizing?!

I fell in love with my eyeshadow today. I got so many compliments and berry really is my color! Who would’ve ever thought the gold kid and silver glitter would complement eachother so well? I used all of the Balm Cosmetics. With the exception of Lorac PRO Mascara and NYC liquid eyeliner! This look is great for a fun night out, summer festival or even a wine down! Love it.

Berry Beautiful

I was also able to do a fun, berry and smokey look for Emily today! I cannot help but obsess over these eyes. Eyes: theBalm batter up eyeshadow in gold, packed with their gold eyeshadow, deep pink and red for the crease. Lorac Cobra mascara with Divaderme’s Lash Extender. Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills in Chocolate (pomade). Face: Lorac’s mattifying face primer, mixed Lorac’s sheer porefection foundation and Kat Von D’s foundation. Anastasia BH cream contour palette, theBalm’s maryloumanizer, Lorac’s contour palette and ELF’s blush in a pink/coral shade. Lips: Sephora’s 04, plumberry. Set face with MAC’s Fix+.

Enjoy 🙂

Smokey and Dark

I was able to give my sister a dark yet playful look today! I first started with the eyes. Primed and used Nyx’s neutral palette (shade orange/tan) in the crease with a fluffy brush. Added dark brown for definition in the crease (it works as a great transition!) Put urban decay’s Naked 2 Blackout all over her lid, BLEND BLEND BLEND. Dabbed some loose silver glitter on top. Eyelashes: Lorac’s Cobra mascara, Divaderme’s Lash Extender and Two Faced’s Better than Sex mascara. Face: Lorac mattifying primer, Nars Sheer Glow foundation, Nars concealer, Anastasia Beverley Hills cream cream contour palette, Lorac’s contour palette, Becca’s highlighter, ELF blush (coral shade) forgot the name! Lips: Kat Von D’s Lolita. Set with MAC’s Fix+ spray!

Hope you all enjoy 🙂

Saint Laurent Fall 2016- Fur, sequins and BOLD cateye

If you haven’t checked out Saint Laurent’s Fall 2016 Collection, go to vogue.com right now. All of these photos were taken by Kim WestonArnold. I can’t help myself but jump up and down over this collection. The use of sequins, oversized fur coats, squared gold belts, structured shoulders, lace and high collars all compliment one another. This cateye is BOLD and FIERCE, paired with a classic red lip and slicked back hair. Modern Goth mixed with an 80s Gaga? I think so.

Nvey Eco Moisture Rich Fluid Foundation

So I couldn’t help but seek for an organic foundation that gives a good coverage and finish. I went into Ulta and saw Nvey Eco, which is an all Organic cosmetic brand made in Australia. I am in shade 515 Golden Honey, ordered it on ulta.com for $6.99 instead of $30 in stores! PROS: Lightweight, buildable, skin-like finish, nourishing and CLEAN of plastics! CONS: Clay-like smell, NOT water-resistant and is very moisturizing (NO NEED TO MOISTURIZE BEFORE APPLYING).

Would I recommend this product and to whom?

YES. Highly, especially if you are just transitioning into trying Organic products and still want that medium-full coverage. Because this foundation is moisture rich (organic sweet almond oil, vitamin E, chamomile, etc.) there is no need to moisturize your skin prior. If you have dry skin, yes. Oily-combo, no. I definitely recommend applying this foundation with a damp beauty blender, not a flat top kabuki!
